According to Google, Retablos are devotional, often portable, artistic, and religious structures—ranging from small painted tin plaques to intricate wooden triptych boxes—serving as altarpieces, household shrines, or tokens of gratitude. Primarily found in Mexico, Peru, and the American Southwest, they depict saints or daily life scenes.
